Provides a general specification for hatches in the size range 650 to 1275 mm. Four sizes are covered by a common basic design with variation in securing and stiffening to suit the increases in size. The hatches are suitable for giving access to compartments other than those subjected to pressure. They are not suitable for use as escape hatches.
