This paper documents the metered and estimated energy use for a renovated, 26,835 square foot, all-electric office building. Five meters record total building energy use; the electric boiler; closed-loop, water-source heat pumps; electric resistance baseboard units; and the electric resistance ventilation air unit. Sixty-six heat pumps provide year-round heating and cooling and ensure that any available heat is transferred to those zones that may require heating. The additional metering has been beneficial, since we are able to show the economics of the HVAC design. The data are presented in kWh per square foot per year.
